SANTO
STEFANO
Punta Santo Stefano is a
little peninsula, located between the "Old Fortress" and
Cala Caterina, with several small coves quite
laborious to reach. Some luxurious villas were builded
on the sheer cliff above the sea, fortunately this way
of build is not allowed anymore, and the villas are
nicely hidden. The fortress was built in the 14h century
and it cheased its function as watch-tower in 1867. It's
actually open to visitors.
