SPIAGGIA DEL RISO
Rice Beach. The name comes
from the large white grains of sand once found here, now,
after the haven's restauration. The
beach is lovely and easy to reach via the road. Behind
there's a place of archeological interest, some neolitic
tombs called "domus de janas": pixies houses,
dated back to 3500-2700 B.C.. There used to be an entire
necropolis here, but only one tomb has remained intact.
From the outside it looks like a square-shaped dug out
from a mass of granite. Inside there's a small chamber
that leads to the main burial chamber. In front remain
only two lines of a double corridor.

the MARINA
